I took my 7 year old son here for the first time yesterday. We've gone to a chain haircut place in the past, but the haircuts were not always great and too short for my son's taste. I decided to give The Hair Spot a try. My son was reluctant, but Brian listened to what kind of cut would make him and I happy and quickly got to work. In a matter of minutes he gave my boy a great haircut!! It's seriously one of the best haircuts I've seen on him. We both left very happy, one of us sucking on a lollipop. It also always feels good to support a local business. Thanks Brian!
I have been going to The Hair Spot for 5 years. Jeff is my usual barber and he does an excellent job. I'm always impressed by the attention to detail he gives. I've had my hair cut by everyone there and they all do a great job at a fair price. As a bonus, their location is convenient and keeps me out of traffic.

Tom gave me my first hair cut as a kid and still cuts my hair to this day despite the fact that I live 35 minutes away. I have been to a lot of other place in my 46 years on this planet (mostly due to living out of state) but none compare. True old school barber shop with fair prices and great personal service. Can't recommend them enough. Do yourself a favor and go see them!!
Excellent experience! Suzie (Suzy?) was so kind and patient, I showed her some photos and she took note of the specifics I mentioned. We had a lovely chat while she worked, and she was super adaptable to my additional requests. I absolutely love how my hair came out, will definitely be coming back. The best in town. I've only had one barber my entire life: Tom from the Hair Spot. Simply put, he's phenomenal at what he does, and he does it at a fair price. We have some great talks; he remembers me and asks about my life, but doesn't dilly dally around while doing so. It's quick, but not too quick. He's friendly, but won't try to schmooze you for a tip. He's a great barber and even better friend. I've never had an issue with Tom and his haircuts; he really deserves a 5-star rating. The team is friendly, the shop is clean, and it's always a highlight of my day when I go. Highly, highly, recommend anyone who cuts hair at this shop! See you soon, Tom!
Friendly but no nonsense. More importantly, all the stylists are excellent and actually listen to what I ask for instead of cutting my hair to look like a high school gym teacher. No upcharge for neck massages or paraffin hand wax or other things you don't want or need. It's not a salon, it's the Hair Spot. You know, for a haircut.
I don’t get my hair cut very often but this place was recommended to me and I’m glad that I went! The staff member was friendly but not overly chatty. She listened to me and the cut was perfect-really!-it was just what I wanted. I can’t recommend more highly! Thank you!
